After I prepared the first post for Emily Dickinson, I found myself still reflecting on her poems I shared. Moving on to a new poet for day 6 didn't seem quite right, so I instead gave Dickinson a part 2.

The third poem I chose for Dickinson is "Forever – is composed of Nows – (690)." Though the title gives it away, this poem emphasizes how important the present moment is. The "Now" must be treasured since both the past and the future was or will be a "Now."

The fourth (and final) Dickinson poem is "A Route of Evanescence, (1489)." By describing a hummingbird, Dickinson expresses an awe of nature and illustrates the word "evanescence."
