Made Golden

Bloody and Beautiful

Description:

Bloody and Beautiful. Two words that are not normally used together to describe what Jesus did on the cross. Jesus died on the cross. He died on the cross for you and me, my friend. But what He did on the cross was brutal. He took the blame for something that He did not even do. He was put in exile and put on trial for a crime he did not do. He took that crown of thorns and the blood ran from his body until every drop was gone… But what an amazing picture that we get to see. Someone who lived on this earth and went through temptations and struggles like you and me and never sinned. Never! But after three days we see the tomb that once was a sad image, made into a beautiful picture of our risen King. One who overcame death.

Sanctified

Description:

You may be wondering what that has to do with you. Well let me tell you. My sweet friend, you can take this gift that Jesus has granted us. It is represented here by the white cross. It is called salvation. Through salvation, Christ sanctifies us. He washes us COMPLETELY clean of all our sins. Our disgusting parts of ourselves that we are ashamed about. We never have to carry that around again. Once Christ has redeemed us, we are able to walk in the light and shine like we are golden. Stand tall baby because you are made GOLDEN in Christ!

Like Springtime

Description:

When we decide to live a life with Christ, we are choosing a different lifestyle. Changing everything about us. Our DNA completely changes. Our DNA is completely wrapped in Christ now. WOW. What an amazing picture to visualize. To visualize Christ running through our veins. This image is representing the growth process that everyone goes through when Christ is living in them. Everyone has different stages. Just like springtime, flowers grow at different rates. Flowers bloom and bud differently. But one thing that every flower needs to grow is water. Without being watered, flowers will not survive. In this image, Christ is the rain and we are the flowers. “Flowers only grow once they’ve tasted rain” -Chris Renzema
